Farewell. My Hometown is the first feature film of director Erzhuo Wang, shot by Shuli Huang.

The film had its world premiere at the 26th Busan International Film Festival where it was awarded the top prize for Asian new directors, the New Currents Award. It later won the Special Mention for Feimu Award at the 5th Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Film Festival. (See review here)
